This article assumes you know what activity modes are, and how to allow different activity modes for different memberships.

How to give a member access to specific activity modes?

Under normal circumstances, the activity modes a member is allowed to play are determined by their membership. However, it is possible to override these per member, to give them access to specific activity modes.

For example, you might only want to give access to the Practice mode to certain members.

To give a member access to specific activity modes:

  1. Go to your Members in the People module

  2. Find the member you want to edit and click on their name

  3. Open the Permissions, roles & sign in details card

  4. Click on the Activities tab

  5. Click on the activity that you want to make changes to

  6. Choose Specific for this member for the Allowed modes dropdown

  7. Mark the checkboxes of the activity modes you want to enable for this member

  8. Click Save to confirm
