To help you get your account up and running quickly, we have created an interactive page to guide you through some of the common steps of the setup process. This help article explains where to find this guide and how to use it.
Where do I find the account setup guide?
When you’ve just opened a new trial account, you will be taken to the setup page automatically. To access it later on at any time, simply click on Account setup in the help menu found in the top right corner of the app.
Alternatively, you can also access the setup page by clicking on the Hello Club logo on the home page, or through the profile menu by clicking on your avatar.
Going through the steps
On the setup page you will find easy to follow steps, grouped together around specific themes or features.
Click on a group to view the individual setup steps for that category. To get started, simply click on the step you want to do and follow the instructions from there.
Repeat this for all the steps that are relevant to you. You can come back to the setup page any time to check your progress and pick up where you left off.
While we’ve done our best to organise the setup steps in a logical order, you are free to change the order in which you go through the steps, or even skip certain steps altogether if they are not relevant to your organisation.
Tracking your progress
A progress indicator at the top of the setup page will let you know how much of the setup you have completed:
Steps that have been completed or skipped will be marked so you can easily keep track of what’s been done and what’s still left to do:
You can always come back to steps that have been skipped or completed and revisit them later on if needed.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to complete all the steps before I can use Hello Club?
No, the steps are just there to guide you through the account setup process. You can do as many or as little as you want, it will have no impact on your ability to use your Hello Club account. You can always visit your setup page later to continue where you’ve left off.
Do I have to do the steps in the right order?
No, while we’ve done our best to organise the setup steps in a logical order, most steps can be completed independently of the other steps, and you are free to go through the steps in any order you like. You can even skip certain steps altogether if they are not relevant to your organisation.
We do recommend that you complete the exploration steps before removing your demo data, and that you remove your demo data before you start setting up the rest of your account, as this will keep your real data separate from the demo data.
Can I redo steps that were already completed?
Yes, simply click on a completed step and you'll be shown the same instructions again.
