How to manage your event notifications around the upgrade

If you have events scheduled around the upgrade period, it's important to check the timing of any event notifications. Notifications set to go out during the portal upgrade on the scheduled upgrade day won’t be sent, as the portal will be down. To avoid this, make sure your notifications are scheduled to be sent either before or after the upgrade.

How to Check and Adjust Event Notification Timing:

  1. Open the Events module and find the event you need to check.

  2. Go to the Date & Time card.

  3. Click on the Notifications tab.

  4. Check the 'scheduled for' column to find out the date and time for when the notification will be sent.

  5. If the notification is set to be sent on the scheduled upgrade day, select the context menu beside the notification, select edit and adjust the timing so it is sent either before or after the upgrade.

This simple step will ensure your notifications are sent at the right time!
