What to do if you’re having trouble logging in or if you’ve forgotten your username or password

I can’t login

Having trouble logging in? The following steps can help you solve the problem.

  1. Make sure you are logging in to the right club or organisation. The name and logo of your club should be displayed on the login page. If you don’t know or remember the link to the login page, use the generic login page or ask one of your club administrators for the right link for your club.

  2. Double check that you are using the correct username and password. If you are not sure about your username or password, or if you forgot them, read on below to find out how to to recover your username or reset your password.

  3. Make sure CAPS LOCK is not turned on, as your username and password are case sensitive.

  4. Double check that your account has not been suspended or archived. If one of these is the case, it will be shown in the login error message.

  5. If you’ve tried all of the above and still can’t login, please contact one of your club administrators, as they can reset your username and password for you or send you a new welcome email to login with.

I don’t have Google or Facebook accounts, how do I login with my username?

To sign in with your username and password, simply click on the Sign in with username button which appears below the social media sign in buttons:

This will bring you to the familiar username and password login screen.

I forgot my username

If you’ve forgotten your username, you can recover it by clicking on the Forgot username link just below the login form:

On the next page, enter the email address that you used to sign up to Hello Club and an email will be sent out to you with known usernames linked to that email address. 

Note that for security reasons, if you enter an incorrect email address, the system will not notify you of this fact. Please make sure you enter the same email address you used to sign up to Hello Club.

If you don’t receive an email within 5 minutes (double check your spam folder), or if you don’t remember what email address you’ve used, please contact one of your club administrators. They can change your username or send you a new welcome email to login with.

Note that you may have used your email address as a username.

I forgot my password

If you’ve forgotten your password, you can setup a new one by clicking on the Forgot password link just below the login form:

On the next page, enter the username that you use to login to Hello Club and an email will be sent out to you with a link that you can use to setup a new password. 

Note that for security reasons, if you enter an incorrect username, the system will not notify you of this fact. Please make sure you enter the correct username. If you can’t remember your username, please see above for instructions on how to recover this.

If you don’t receive an email within 5 minutes (double check your spam folder), or if you have issues resetting your password, please contact one of your club administrators. They can reset your password for you or send you a new welcome email to login with.

I can’t login with social media

If you are unable to login with social media, please make sure that:

  1. The email address that you use for social media is the same as the email address that you use for Hello Club.

  2. You only have one user account on Hello Club linked to this email address.

If this doesn’t work, you can login with your username and password instead, and then head to your Profile page and click on Sign in details to connect your social media account to your Hello Club account. Next time you will be able to login with your social media account.

Note that for security reasons, logging in with social media is disabled on kiosk computers. This is due to the risk that you will remain logged in with Facebook or Google, even after you logout of Hello Club. Please setup a username and password if you want to be able to login on a kiosk computer.

I still can’t login

If you’ve tried all of the above and nothing helps and you are sure you are entering your username and password correctly, please try refreshing the browser page to make sure you have the latest version of Hello Club loaded up.

If that doesn’t help, please contact your club or organisation and ask them to change your username or password for you, or to send you a new welcome email so you can setup your own new username and password.
