The booking system comes with a handy feature that allows you to put your name on a waiting list to get notified if court or other type of bookable area becomes available at a specific time.

If you are on the waiting list, you’ll receive a notification if someone cancels their booking, allowing you to step in and make your own booking instead.

Adding yourself to the waiting list

To add yourself to the waiting list for a specific time slot, simply hover over that time slot and click on the alarm clock icon to open up the waiting list status.

You will be asked to confirm that you want to be placed on the waiting list, and you'll be able to see if there are any other people on the waiting list before you.

You can only add yourself to the waiting list for a specific time slot if all courts for that time slot are occupied. If there's still at least one court free, you should make your booking on that court instead.

Removing yourself from the waiting list

If you've changed your mind and no longer want to be on the waiting list for a particular time slot, simply open up the waiting list status by clicking on the alarm clock icon again, and then click on the button to remove yourself from the waiting list.

What if there are multiple people in the queue?

The waiting list works on a first come first served basis. The first person to get on the waiting list, will be notified first when a court becomes available and will have the first chance to book that court.

If they don't book the court, a notification will be sent to the next person on the list after 10 minutes, giving them a heads up that the court is available.

Is my booking guaranteed?

The waiting list is designed to notify you if a court frees up, but it does not guarantee a booking when the court becomes available.

To avoid blocked up courts and frustration of other members, you are still responsible for making your own booking after you receive the notification.

Try to be quick though, because once a court frees up, anyone can make a booking for that slot, whether they are on the waiting list or not!
